Outplacement for British American Tobacco
„The cooperation with Hill Int. arose due to a merge of companies British American Tobacco and Scandinavian Tobacco on Czech market. Because some job positions got doubled, it was time to say goodbye to some employees. It mainly affected sales representatives, lower & middle management.
The aim of the outplacement project was to support the leaving employees in finding a new life perspective, to help them to find a new job opportunity and a career and at the same time to ease their understanding of the domestic market.
The Hill Int. consultants started to act immediately after the announcement of the specific HR changes in the company. The leaving employees, who showed an interest in the outplacement service, were immediately contacted by Hill Int. and a specific support plan was negotiated. (group workshops, individual interviews, testing etc.)
The programme participants positively evaluated the professional approach of the consultant, their knowledge, practical experience and mainly their individual care. As a client I appreciated the proactive communication and regular reporting of the progress and placement of the employees.
The Hill Int. consultants were also able to react flexibly according to the current situation (the number of participant changed a little over period). We evaluate the cooperation with Hill Int. within the merge of British American Tobacco and Scandinavian Tobacco as a good investment, which signally contributed to the success of the whole project.“
